Haboob - large dust storm

Truly this was the first season we've heard of our large dust storms being called 'haboob'. I'm sure there's a technical reason, but I don't know it yet. This is the second one and it was near our home. Luckily, we were driving the opposite way it was traveling and to the east of it.
